JOB SUMMARY
The HVAC Design Engineer will be responsible for the design of HVAC systems that meet Clinet’s requirements and regulatory standards
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preparation of HVAC engineering design, Equipment selection, load calculation, capacity sizing etc
- Proffer solutions to Client specific situations in terms of HVAC design
- Report to Design Team Lead and Technical Director depending on task at hand.
- Understanding of Client’s briefs and requirements and integration into systems design.
- Development of relevant technical specifications, scoping of work packages
- HVAC Tender Pricing, review and analysis.
- Preparation of Technical Datasheets and Specifications.
- Preparation and pricing of HVAC Bill of Quantities with necessary quantity take-off.
- Estimation of Project Budgetary cost.
- Site inspection for data gathering or technical evaluation.
- Participation in design review meetings and workshops.
- Liaise with OEMs, OEM representatives, Partners, Local suppliers / Contractors to ensure adherence to standards and scope of works required by client.
- Identify and develop relationship with vendors for tender Pricing.
- Represent Company in meetings and requests by the client
- Manage and maintain client relationships and communicate with clients to explain proposals, present research findings, establish specifications or discuss project status.
REQUIREMENTS:
- BSc, BTech /HND or M.Sc. (or its equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years post NYSC experience working in same capacity and industry
- NSE membership and/or COREN certification is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in AUTOCAD, REVIT and Microsoft Office Applications
