JOB SUMMARY
The QAQC Engineer will oversee the implementation of quality control procedures for MEPF systems, conduct inspections and tests, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. You will ensure that all systems comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and project specifications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement MEPF quality control plans and procedures.
- Conduct inspections and tests at various stages of MEPF installations and commissioning.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve MEPF quality issues.
- Monitor and analyze MEPF quality performance metrics, generate reports, and present findings to management.
- Ensure compliance with MEPF-related codes, standards, and regulations.
- Provide guidance and training to project teams on MEPF quality control processes.
- Participate in the selection and evaluation of MEPF subcontractors and suppliers.
- Review MEPF design and construction documents for quality compliance.
- Conduct MEPF risk assessments and contribute to hazard mitigation strategies.
- Stay updated with industry advancements, new technologies, and emerging standards related to MEPF systems.
- Assist employees to ensure knowledge of all quality standards, ensure compliance to all quality manuals and procedures and collaborate with contractors and suppliers to maintain the quality of all systems.
- Analyze all products and non-conformance processes and evaluate all documents to ensure the maintenance of optimal quality and prepare monthly reports to evaluate performance.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- Certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of QAQC experience in MEPF systems within the building services industry.
- Hands-on experience with MEPF installations, testing, and commissioning processes.
- In-depth understanding of MEPF systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection).
- Familiarity with MEPF testing equipment, quality control software, and tools.
